Sam Schneiderman is an advocate for real estate consumer's
rights and disclosure.
He recently served as the industry relations liason for
REAFRA (Real Estate Agents For Real Agency), actively
involved in lobbying legislators to include more protection
and consumer disclosure in the new real estate legislation
that became effective on July 1, 2005.
As the past President of the Massachusetts Association
of Buyer Agents, Sam's input on the new regulations was
solicited by the Massachusetts Real Estate Board.
Sam started his real estate career in 1984, when all
residential real estate agents in the state represented
only home sellers. He quickly became frustrated by the
restrictions that sub-agency imposed on his relationship
with the buyers that he worked with. As a result, Sam
became one of the first buyer's brokers in the areas
that he served.
